So, NAMM is upon us and the buzz word is “polyphonic tuning”. That’s great tech but just how much will this help us get our guitars in tune properly? It will certainly speed up tuning up floating bridges and I’m seriously interested for that alone! Last week I posted about a new software app called the Polyphonic Guitar Tuner which I thought looked pretty cool, well it seems that they have been pipped to the post, unless of course that was a sneaky viral from TC Electronic? It could well be considering the developer is Danish as are TC Electronic! ... The PolyTune is a stomp box sized Polyphonic Tuner that allows you to switch modes between a standard tuning mode and PolyTune mode that enables you to tune all your strings at the same time.
