UPDATE: It seems I had my wires crossed as to the instructions on photographing Marty, before the clinic it was announced that no photography or video was to be taken using Mobile phones because they didn’t want blurry crappy footage posted online, cameras however were fine. I however incorrectly interpreted this as meaning that video cameras were fine. I certainly didn’t mean to do something against Marty’s wishes and sincerely apologise for any trouble this has caused ... I realised

You may not have heard of Andy Wood, guitarist of the band Down From Up and virutosic Suhr weilding shredmeister. You may have also seen a recent gear walkthrough here on Guitar Noize posted by Paul, he has a very nice rig! Jonas Tamas is very talented guitarist from Hungary and “Sharp Guitars from a Flat Planet” is his debut instrumental release. Jonas’ influences are obviously trenched in metal and instrumental rock guitar. His fast Satriani-esque legato phrases fuse into fast picking sections reminiscent of John Petrucci and Yngwie Malmsteen but Jonas has much more to offer than speedy playing and flashy tapping, Jonas has a some great melodic ideas too.
